Suggest Medication For Chest Pain On The Left Side

I have a chest pain on the left side of my chest. When I reach forward with my left arm it hurts and when I turn my head to the left it hurts. Taking deep breaths causes a pain on the left side. Coughing causes pain on the left side. What can this be? And is it serious?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain on left side of chest can occur due to any disease process in the cardiovascular system, respiratory system or musculoskeletal system.
Consultation with a physician is required along with few investigations.
A X-ray chest and an ECG are the first line investigations.
Since, the pain is associated with movement of left hand and coughing, it can be due to involvement of musculoskeletal system or due to involvement of pleura in various disease processes.

Thanks and take care
