Suggest Medication For Chest Congestion And Severe Acidity

My mother is aged 75 yrs. She suffere from MI in 1978. Is a known case of Hypothyroidism, she had hystrectomy in 2004 and her gall bladder was removed in 2006. she suffered from spontaneous pneumothorax in 2008. She is having intense acidity and gas problems with chest congetion right now. She was administered 1gm Taxim for 5 days without much relef in conestion please advice

In my opinion you should first go for chest X ray. And acidity and lung problems are quite interconnected. So both should be cared at a time. Give her good PPI like Pantoprazole, Rabeprazole, Esomeprazole etc. And in my view levofloxacin is having good lung penetration so can be tried.
