Suggest Medication For Body Pain And Weight Gain Post Stomach Ulcer Treatment
@ 2 yrs ago I had a stomach ulcer, no problems since. dr took me off all arthritis med. My severe pain arms, neck, back,legs & knees have made me sedentary. 15 to 20 lb weight gain..I can barely walk of lift my arms. I took one 800 Ibuprofen today & it helped with the imflammation....am I playint russian roulette?.....Thanks....

i would suggest you add pantoprazole 40mg along with every dose of ibuprofen you are taking as you have a significant history of stomach ulcers. the dosage can be upto a maximum of 3200mg/day but that will increase the risk of renal side effects. The lower the dose the the lesser the side effects. i suggest try to take two400mg tablets, one morning and one evening. if pain doesnt subside then revert to 800mg tab once a day
