Suggest Medication For Body Pain And Headache

I have been extremely tired and have had one nostril completely clogged for about 2-3 months. It started off as a sinus infection and was treated, but never went away. Now for the past three days my entire body has been achey. I have had a massive headache as well. My nose is still somewhat stuffed but not as much.

Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

This is purely a case of sinusitis. There is no doubts about that. The headache is also due to the sinus involvement.

I have the following suggestions
1. Steam inhalation 4 times a day
2. Warn saline gargles 4 times a day
3. Nasal drops of oxymetazoline 3-4 times a day
A prolonged course of antibiotics may help.

To confirm this, especially in view of a recent onset headache, I would suggest testing your Ct scan brain with OHM. This will view your brain and sinuses.

If it is too severely blocked, surgical opening of the ostium may be needed.

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Please feel free to ask another query. I would be glad to help you. Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.

Best of luck.
