Suggest Medication For Bloated Stomach

Hi Doctor, I'm a vitiligo patient together with alopecia barbae. 2 weeks ago, I'd some kind of poking sensation at gentilia area (penis). After consulted doctor, she found that there is a presence of Nitric acid and protein in urine and thus clasified as UTI. After a week of antibiotic course, there is an improvement. No obvious pain observed. However for the past 3 days, i fell my stomoach bloated. This is followed by lower abdominal pain, muscle and joint pain. I've re-visted doctor, and it is confirmed that there is no longer infection in my urine. Is this side effect of antibiotic? I'm worried. Please help.

Hi,

Some advices that I can give to you are:

- Take simethicone medicine.
- Avoid chewing gum.
- Limit your intake of carbonated drinks.
- Avoid foods that cause gas, such as vegetables in the cabbage family, dried beans, and lentils.
- Eat slowly and avoid drinking through a straw.
- Use lactose-free dairy products (if you are lactose intolerant).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
