I am 24 years old and have been suffering from acne for quite some time. My dermatologist gave me a course in isotretinoin for a year and my skin cleared out massively. However i face a few breakouts now (despite the diet control). Ive been recommened to take accutret 5 mg for a month and additionally apply yuguard+depiderm on my face. How can get rid of this problem?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne on face which is very common in your age group because of hormonal changes and skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it leads to post inflammation hyper-pigmentation. Medications prescribed to you are absolutely up to mark. Take diet rich in multivitamins. I would suggest you to wash your face daily with cold water and face wash containing salycylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelac acid which is good for acne as well as marks. Drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. Apply aloe vera gel at night
Hope your concern has been resolved.
