Suggest Medication For MRSA Causing Swelling Of Feet And Hands

Yes, I was diagnosed with MRSA today & my hands & feet fell swollen & tingly. I had a lump on my right side that blistered then was lanced, drained & cultured. I am very uncomfortable with the current feeling of swelling & tingling. I was prescribed doxycycline hyclate 100mg 2/day. Bactrim DS was way too strong for me. Should I go to an ER??

Hello.

Doxy is probably not the grug of choice for MRSA. I suggest you go to your doctor to get right antibitics for MRSA.

All the best.
