Suggest Medication And Food Restrictions For Intestinal Metaplasia
I have recently been diagnosed with intetestinal metaplasia. Will antioxidants help and how much (g,mg) can I Take and what kind. I also have Barretts. My system does not digest many of the so called good greens n veggies needed. And I was told not to eat nuts, seeds, caffine. So I am at a lost. Thank you

Coffee and certain food that relax LES is restricted in patient of Barret to prevent reflux.
Regular screening is to be done for Barret esophagus as per suggested by gastroenterologist usually at every three years.
Rabeprazole like antacid taken if reflux associated.
Head elevated while sleeping.
Avoid smoking if having habit.
