Suggest Measures To Be Taken After Accidentally Swallowing Sweet Plum Pit

I am a 72 yr old male in good health....I just accidentally swallowed a sweet plum pit, which fortunately did pass into my stomach with very mild discomfort. Is there anything good to do to aid digestion and passing of this? I have heard that increasing fiber and water intake are the best actions. Thanks for your assistance.

Hello. Plenty of fluids are fine, and usually these pass all the way through the gastrointestinal tract without any problem. That said, if you begin to have abdominal pain or nausea and vomiting, then you should see a doctor
