Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
The rounded, slightly painful swelling next to left testis is most likely caused by what is called epididymal cyst. This can easily be confirmed on examination by, preferably a UROLOGIST.The treatment depends on the size, duration and findings on a scrotal scan,if indicated. Most of theese resolve with medical treatment, so there's no cause for anxiety.
