Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tightness in chest after having food which is due to gastroesophageal reflux disease due to sphincters becomes loosened and cause acid production. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures such as Elevate the head end of the bed so that the regurgitation does not occur. You should do regular routine exercises like morning walk. avoid oily, fast food and extreme spicy food. Take diet rich in roughage. Take combination of proton pump inhibitors along with antacids such as rantidine, omeprazole. Visit ENT specialist once if symptoms keeps on persisting. Get ECG done as well to monitor cardiac functions.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
