Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir/Madam,
My advise is to consult a nephrologist. In view of increasing creatinine her metformin needs to be stopped and based on other clinical parameters she can be put on suitable treatment. Generally a cooperated effort of Diabetologist and Nephrologist will help you manage her health condition..
All the very best!
