Suggest Ideal Dosage Of Femara For Fertility

My doctor has prescribed Femara for fertility (I have been diagnosed with PCOS). I have been instructed to take the pills day 5,6,7,8 & 9 of my cycle. Unfortunately Day 1 of my cycle has occurred much earlier than expected and with my husband s out-of-town work schedule we will miss our window of opportunity. Is it possible to start the Femara on day 7 instead of day 5 to maximize our window when he s home?

Hello
You are a patient of pcos and want pregnancy .
Advised femara i.e. clomifene .
This tablet are supposed to be taken on day 5, 6, 7 , 8 & 9 .
But its main aim is to help follicle so that maturing follicle can attain the required size.
Since you missed dose but need not to worry , you can take on day 7, 8 9 10 & 11 .
Size of follicle should be around 19 mm to 20 mm on day 14th , 15th at least to rupture and liberate ovum.
So don't take tension , take femara on day 7 onward.
