Suggest Home Remedy For Increased Bowel Movements, Pain In Upper Abdomen After Being Drunk Without Intake Of Solids
My girlfriend has been having a lot of bowel movements and upper middle abdominal pain that has been pretty severe. The only event in the last 24 hours was she drank for the fist time in two months and hadn t eaten in 3 days. What could be the cause and what household items would work for a remedy?
Her symptoms can be caused by some infection of the gastrointestinal tract, acute pancreas inflammation or gallstones. In case of infection, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and fever are quite characteristic symptoms. Acute pancreatitis gives usually strong abdominal pain which radiates to the back, nausea and vomiting after any food. This condition can be caused by alcohol intake. Gallstones usually give upper right abdominal pain which radiates to the back. Nausea and vomiting can be present.
Unfortunately this conditions needs to be ruled out and can not be treated at home. That is why I suggest your girlfriend to visit a doctor and have abdominal ultrasound, blood work, liver tests, pancreas tests, urine analysis.
Hope this will help. Regards.
