General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello
i read your question and understand your concern
i would like to ask that
* any family h/o such rashes in children / adults?
* is there any dryness/scaly rashes also
* is there itching in those rashes as well?
in my opinion there is possibility of eczema in your child so atarax is anti allergic you can give that but you may also need topical corticosteriod creams as well and also consult pediatrician/dermatologist for this problem
and you can apply moisturizing lotions and baby oil as well
do not let your baby skin dry
i hope my answer will satisfy you
good luck & tc
