General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, it seems like fistula or abscess, however, I should have a look at the sore myself. Meanwhile, I would add antibiotic ointment to your current treatment. If still no improvement, should see proctologist as should rule out fistula. The only treatment for fistula (if confirmed) is surgery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
