Hello
Ragi porridge is very good to start as a complementary feed. As far as I know it is a culture in southern states to start with this.Actually gluten containing cereals like wheat, barley, rye should be avoided in initial one or two months of weaning. Cereals should be introduced one by one at an interval of few days . So that if there is an allergy to particular cereals it can be easily picked up.As you are a working women you can give cerelac along with home made food like khichadi, dal ka pani, mashed boiled apple, mashed boiled potato, suji ka halwa etc. Add ghee to the food so that adequate calorie as per body need should be met.
If you are a nonvegetarian don't give egg now,as there is a chance of egg allergy in early months.
Regards
