Suggest Dosage Of Metrodinazole To Control Loose Stools

Yesterday morning I had solid motion thrice. Starting 0 hrs today morning i.e. nmidnight until now I passed Very loose motion 4 times with an interval of 2 hrs. After 1st loose motion, I swallowed 1 metrodinazole 400 mg tab , at 0.15 hrs.
Can you please suggest to me, the dosage of this medicine ?

Hello.
Thank you for contacting HCM.

You seem to be suffering from amoebic dysentery. The dose of metronidazole is 500 mg three times daily for 5-7 days.
Also I would recommend intake of ORS for 1-3 days depending on your condition.
If your problem persists then I would recommend you consult your local ER for correction of fluid and electrolyte levels.
