Suggest Dosage For Rabies Vaccine

Hi Doctor, I was bitten by a street dog and it is not that much severe, only I got very small redish color in my leg post dog bite, as a precaution steps I have taken a TT injection in my back and a anti rabies vaccine in my hand. My questions Doctor advised me take only 3 dose of anti rabies vaccination - 0,7,14 - Is this is correct ? Can I Play and kiss my kid ? Doctor advised not to take any poultry items till the closure of the vaccination - Is this is true ? Can I consume alcohol or smoke during vaccination period Thanks in advance Balaji R

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Rabies is very fatal disease cause by dog bite.
You have bitten by street dog and difficult to trash street dog.
I would suggets to take full five dose: dose 0,7,14,28,90 days, rabipur vaccine.
Additional dose provide booster immunity
Take care of wound to to prevent infection.
You can play and kiss your child, but not allow child to touch wound.
There are no dietary restrictions following a dog bite and you can eat whatever you like to have.
