Suggest Dosage For Oflomac 50 Medicine
My son is 6 months old. I startd giving him lactogen formula milk twice a day apart ftom breastfeed. But he is now passing green stool 8 times a day for last 5 days.Doc has prescribed oflomac 50,enterogermina and Z&D. Is it safe. Wht shd b th dose of oflomac 50?

The normal dose of ofloxacin ( oflomac ) is 4 -6 mg / kg body weight in two divided doses i.e. twice in day .
If the weight of baby is 8 kg then normal dose is 30 mg twice in day .
Calculate doses as mentioned and son will be allright .
