Suggest Dosage For Crestor
My mother has been prescribed Lipitor twice, she had a severe response both times. She recently was prescribed Crestor, small dose of 5 mg. The last time she was given Lipitor it was a 40mg. Because she already has dementia and other problems. How close are Lipitor and Crestor or its generic drug.

Lipitor containing atorvastatin drug which is HMG Co enzyme A reductase inhibitor drug... Help in lowering cholesterol level
Rosuvastatin is from the same group and mechanism if action same for both
Muscle pain, joint pain, confusion , nausea etc are some side effects of these group drugs...

According to cholesterol level dose adjusted
