Suggest Dosage For Cefprozil While Having UTI
I think I have a UTI (I have had a few in my life - 70 yrs old) and my Dr. prescribed Cefprozil to use after having intercourse as a preventative. Of course I forgot to take it the last time and now I wanted to know if I could use it to get rid of the UTI by taking it by the direction on the bottle: 1 tab by mouth every 12 hrs?

I understand your concern.
To my opinion you should follow your doctor's advice: take Cefprozil after having intercourse.
Depending on the time you had the last intercourse, I advise to take only 1 tb of Cefprozil. Keep the others when you'll have the next intercourse.
Take urine antiseptics containing uva ursi or cranberry as supplement or as tea.
