I am overweight by about 70lbs and am looking for a healthy diet that I can do long-term. I know that I am a food addict, so I’ve tried OA, weight watchers, slim fast, otc diet pills, counseling, teas, and a variety of fad diets. Despite knowing that I have heart issues and migraines, I got desperate about a year ago and found someone who would prescribe me Phentermine. I lost 40lbs in 6mos. I told myself I’d never gain the weight back, but 2yrs later, I’m back up to 240. With all the things online that I’ve researched, I am completely overwhelmed. My physician says to follow the food pyramid and my gynecologist says not to overeat. I’m 48, 5’7”, and completely frustrated. Any suggestions?
