Hello
Its good that you have started complementary feed at the recommended age of 6 months. One should add cereals one by one at interval of few days so that if there is any kind of allergy to a particular cereal it would be detected. You have started rice and oats and these are the right cereals to begin with. Gradually you can add other cereals and pulses. Be cautious when you add wheat, rye or barley as they contain gluten chemical which can cause allergy in few babies. Also give mashed potato, apple, banana etc.If you are non vegetarian don't give egg till one year of age as egg white may also cause allergy. Eruption of teeth starts at 6 months of age but it usually takes 3-4 months more accept solid rice & dal comfortably.Continue your breast feeding. If possible prepare proper amount of food to prevent refrigeration.
