Suggest Diet Plans To Lose Weight

Hi doctor my sonia 17 yrs old and generally active. But because of his cbse xii exams he was busy studying and was not active and hence he has gained weight. Can u give me diet chart that I can use for him? He finished his exams only last week and now he does swimming everyday for half an hour and walks 3km every day

hello welcome to HCM. i understand your concerns. weight loss can be achieved by a healthy and balanced diet and regular physical activity.
shall give you a sample diet plan;
early morning 1 cup of green tea.
breakfast; 1 cup of oats with milk and banana or 2 idli with sambar or broken
wheat upma
mid morning snacks; 1 cup of fruit salad.
lunch; salad, dal,rice,brown rice or chapathi, curd,boiled vegetables
evening snacks; 1 cup of sprouts
dinner; soup , 1 chapathi with sabzi.

go for cardiovascular exercises like brisk walking,swimming,runningfor 45min 6 times a week.
have plenty of water.
