i cant hold my urine ive wet myself twice im 21 years old i was in a car accident 3 months ago and have suffered back pains since with spasms now i have this urine problem in which i saw blood each time ive urinated ive been to the doctors and i dont have an infection do you know what it might be?
Although urine infection is a concern here, I suspect urethral narrowing following injury either itself or due to possible catheter kept during the treatment.
It is the matter of great concern that urethral narrowing must be ruled out as a primary cause for recurrent UTI after injury.
In my clinic, I do recommend an ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis with or without ascending urethrography depending upon the clinical evaluation and other parameters of lab tests.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
