Suggest Cure For Soft Nodules Appearing On The Collarbone
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have a couple pea size soft nodules on my collarbone. when I try to touch it, it slips away and have to find it again in an attempt to feel it more closely. I have had them for years. Thank you. Ps it does not hurt
Hi. As per your case history you are having Lipoma on collar bone skin. It is a benign growth of fat cells. My treatment advice is - 1. As it is benign growth no treatment is needed unless it is causing pain or looks bad cosmetically 2. You can get your lipid profile checked. As sometimes Lipoma are associated with high cholesterol and triglycerides. 3. Only treatment for Lipoma is complete excision. You can go for it as it is a minor procedure taking less than half an hour.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
