General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to ligament injury (sprain) in wrist joint. Immobilisation in elastic bandage , NSAIDs like Ibuprofen ( motrin ) and ice pack application will be helpful. If there is increase in pain or no improvement after 1 week consult an Orthopaedician to rule out any injury to bone or arthritis.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
