Suggest Cure For Persistent Cough

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I have a cough that hasnt gone away for about 3 weeks now and it used to come only at night but now its starting in the day. I can understand your concern.
Yoi are having chronic cough (cough for more than 2 weeks).
So we should definitely rule out lung infection (pneumonia or tuberculosis) and bronchitis in your case.
So consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection.
Pft is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
You may nerd antibiotics, inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid based on diagnosis.
