Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Guttate psoriasis is a skin condition in which small, red, and scaly teardrop-shaped spots appear on the arms, legs, and middle of the body.
This type of clinical presentation is common in children, adolescents and young adults.
Guttate psoriasis is said to be usually preceded by a streptococcal sore throat infection but not always. There can be new/fresh crops of lesions during an episode and recurrent episodes of guttate psoriasis are common.
Guttate psoriasis is usually widespread. Therefore treatment options for guttate psoriasis are whole body UV B Phototherapy, oral antibiotics like Erythromycin.
Sunlight is believed to play a beneficial role in guttate psoriasis.
Topical treatment includes topical emollients, topical steroids, topical vitamin D anlogues like calcipotriol, calcitriol.
The patches respond quite well to treatment and the response is usually evident within 2 weeks.
I would suggest that you take an appointment with a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as appropriate treatment.
