Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If the baby is feeding for about 25-30 minutes at a stretch, is sleeping after feeds, passing urine 6-8 times a day and is gaining weight as expected, the milk output is adequate and no need of any formula feeds. When indicated, I used to give Dexolac-1 or Similac-1 for infants below 6 months. These are Indian brands, and may vary across countries.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
