Suggest Cause For Pressure In Chest

For the last 3-4 weeks, I have had pressure in the middle of my chest, some times randomly and other times when bending over. I have also experienced acid reflux but the pressure in the chest sternum area feels more physical (if that makes sense). Sometimes this pain radiates to the lower right side of my chest.

Hi
Thanks for your query.
In all probability it is because of this reflux for which you need to have life style modification along with medicines like tablet pantoprazole twice daily before food for at least 6 weeks. Though I advise you to exclude other causes of this chest tightness especially asthma and ischemic heart disease for which you need to undergo spirometry with bronchodialator reversibility testing and ECG in all leads and TMT in cases where ECG becomes normal.
Thank you.
Regards,
Dr Arnab Maji
