Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Which antibiotics he priscribed? Amoxicillin itself is not sufficient and needs to be taken along with macrolide antibiotics, bronchodilator and expectorent.
In case of non resolving pneumonia, antibiotics may need to be changed. So, ask your doctor to prescribe antibiotics for you.
Please consult your physician who will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
