Suggest An Effective Alternative To Methotrexate
Good morning, I am a 52 yr old male 189cm tall, 80kg. I was prescribed, 25mg weekly of methotrexate, for severe arthritis, and pseriosis, approx. 8 years ago. Everything is fine, except I have moved to the Philippines, and find methotrexate very hard to come by, and if available, only in 2.5mg doses. Is there a substitute for methotrexate/ Thank you for your time, Chris.

An alternative to methotrexate is not there. But there are other disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs which can be prescribed to you. So you need to visit your doctor and ask for a change.
