General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Acute onset of joint and muscle pain along with malaise (feeling unwell) and vomiting may be due to a viral illness.

Symptoms should usually last 1 to 2 weeks in most cases. In some cases only a few days.

Treatment would involve: (a) rest as much as possible
(B) use of small amounts of fluid only at a time eg 1 tsp to 1 tbs every 5 mins for 1 hour.
If this is tolerated then the amount can be increased. The fluids used should be oral rehydration products or sport drinks such as gatorade that can also give back electrolytes that you are losing
(C)With one of your sips of fluids, you can use try the paracetamol again

I hope this helps
