I have been taking Effexor XR (75 mg 1 x daily) for fourteen years, but my psychiatrist has now taken me off the drug due to low sodium levels. Is there another antidepressent/antianxiety medication that will work as effectively? I feel that the Effexor has stopped working, as two weeks ago my panic attacks resumed. He did not want to put me on another medication until I was completely off the Exxefor, which will be one week from today.
