Suggest Alternative Treatment For Epididymitis

Good day sir i just want to ask what other additional treatment for epididymitis. I was taking cipro 500 and i think there is a little improvement , i already had all the test : urine culture,ultrasound,bloodtest ., and the medication they gave me is for 1 month , i just want my recovery to be speed up. And by the way my semen color is yellow, is that part of epdidymitis?. Its not really painfull anymore .. Is there other helpful remedy? I saw 1 remedy but i dont know if it really works where i will sit on a container and that container has vinegar alcohol and boiled water mixed, and let it steam over my testicle.. Is that really works? And drinkinb coconut will help and dandelion tea?

Hello,

Epididymitis the most common infection are caused by gonorrhea or chlamydia among sexually active men.

I always recommend to my patient to get Ceftriaxone injection and doxycycline to cover gonorrhea and chlamydia together and it is more effective in treatment. If you still have symptom you may need to go back to see your doctor after you take ciprofloxacine one months already.

Your doctor will do another test to see if you are cure or not. To help with pain and swelling you can put a cold gel pack, bag or ice, or bag of frozen vegetables on the area every few hours, for 15 mins eat time. Wear a jock strap to support your scrotum. Some NSAID and help for your pain.
