What other treatments are there for bladder cancer? I m allergic to Mitomycin-C, and I just had 6 weeks treatment of BCG. A week after that I had a cystoscopy and my cytology came back with cancer cells. I ve had 13 bladder surgeries done and having another one on 12/2. I m 77 and have had the cancer since 2000 A nurse friend of mine asked if I ve ever taken H-86 and I ve never heard of it. YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

Naturopathic support may be helpful for a variety of conditions, including digestive issues, sleep disturbances and fatigue.

As part of the supportive services offered at CTCA, our naturopathic team may provide suggestions to help assist with normal metabolism and digestion during cancer treatment and help manage side effects, such as nausea or fatigue.

Options to help manage side effects for patients to explore may include Herbal and botanical preparations, such as herbal extracts and teas, Dietary supplements, such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids, Massage, including gentle techniques used on deep muscles and joints, Hydrotherapy, including water-based approaches like hot and cold wraps.

Lifestyle counselling, such as sleep strategies, smoking cessation and stress reduction techniques. Acupuncture, to help with side effects like nausea and vomiting, dry mouth, hot flashes, pain and insomnia.

Chiropractic care, which may include hands-on adjustment, massage, stretching, electronic muscle stimulation, traction, heat, ice and other techniques.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
