Suggest Alternative Medications For Cold And Sneezing

Hi Doctor, I am 42 years old female. I have alergic asthma since childhood and am taking Seroflo 125 Ingaler twice daily. I am also suffering from cold and sneezing very frequently (atleast once in a week). This cold is so severe that I will not be able to even go to office without taking medicine. I normally take Citrizine tablet during this time and feel drowsy for the whole day. I feel myself that taking Citrizine so frequently is not good for me and can cause serious issues in long run. Can you please suggest how can I find a soltion for this.

Hello,

I would recommend taking Montelucast to help against allergic reaction. It is also necessary performing allergy tests in order to avoid the triggering factors.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
