Suggest Alternative Medication For Severe Ear Infection

I have a raging ear infection and was prescribed amoxicillin which didn t work .now I am on augmentum duo forte for three days and it still is not working .went back to gp today to ask for Klacid and he gave it to me and told me to also finish course of augmentum duo forte -is there any thing else I should be doing -I am so sick with pain and ringing and my ear drum is bulging with infection -he couldn t see a tear.

I really appreciate your concern, ringing (tinnitus) and infection are two different condition some time these may related and some time not, but it is very important to differentiate them because tinnitus may be alone it self, and it can be possible in absence of infection, if you have not gone to see the ENT surgeon then better to see it, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
