Suggest Alternative Medication For Ringworm Infection
Hi doctor... My mom is having a ringworm since last 6 months... She is used several treatment but none of them worked properly... She keeps the infected area very clean... When she tried fourderm the ringworm shifts to several places... So, doctor can u advice the treatment? Thanks

Avoid steroid containing creams since it will worsen the condition.The site of infection has not been mentioned. Antifungal cream along with oral antifungal drugs containing flucanazole or secnidazole may be required.
Widespread large lesions may require 3 to 4 weeks to heal.Fungal infections commonly occur in the immunocompromised patients and hence any chronic infections like diabetes should be ruled out.
