Suggest Alternate Remedy For Removal Of Lymph Node
Hello. I have had a lump in my thigh for a couple years. In the past few months it has grown. MRI indicates enlarged lymph node (with a nearly matching sized lymph node in other thigh). CBC results shows Absolute Lymphs as 3.2. WBC = 7.4. RBC = 4.07. Surgery is scheduled to remove the lymph node later this month. Needless to say, I am scared.

Hi, what is the size of the node and why do they want it removed? Nodes on the thigh are usually not removed. The only indication I can think of is for a biopsy. In any case, it is a very minor surgery with minimal or no complications. So dont worry, it will be just fine. It will not cause you any problems. Take care,
