Suggest Alternate Remedy For Pinkish Red Bumps On The Forearm

I am a 29 y/o, 6', 200 lbs, otherwise healthy male. About 2 months ago a faint, pinkish-red cluster of nearly-flat bumps appeared on my left inside forearm. The entire cluster is roughly 1 centimeter in diameter, and the individual 'bumps' are largest at 3 to 4 millimeters. There are not many of them, and the largest are in the center, forming almost a mild rash appearance, with smaller ones separated on the outside.

There are no other symptoms I am aware of: there is no itching, no dryness, no scaling or peeling, nothing. The only potential symptom I could put in the same time frame was an abnormal dryness in my mouth and more so in my back throat, which lasted 2 to 3 weeks.

Approximately 1 month ago (or 1 month after first appearance), I noticed a similar patch appear on my right inner thigh, halfway between my groin & knee. This new appearance is a little more stretched out, about 1 inch long, 1 centimeter in width, and the individual flat bumps are more spaced out between each other, but they are few in number. The progression of both instances seems to be in color only, starting light pink, and getting slightly darker, reddish-pink, but nothing "severe" looking.

The only potential cause for these that I can think of, anything I have done out of the ordinary in the past 6 months, was sleep with 3 girls of questionable "cleanliness", all protected sex, but also oral sex. I visited my doctor, had an STD screening, and was cleared of HSV, HPV, hepatitis, gonorrhea, syphilis, etc. I did not necessarily think this was caused by something like that, but I wanted to be sure and thought it to be worth mentioning.

[I think] My doctor believed it was a fungal infection or something similar, and prescribed Ketoconazole 2% cream, which I have been applying to each area 2 or 3 times daily for 5 to 6 days now. I have not noticed any change, worse or better, at either site. I have also searched the internet extensively for a match, but cannot find anything that even sounds remotely similar. I am without insurance at the moment, and was wanting to give the cream a little more time before resorting to my dermatologist. Any advice is greatly, hugely appreciated, and I thank you for your time.
