Suggest A Substitute Of Oxycodone

I have been taking a pain med. for @ 7 years, first I took hydrocodone 10 mil. twice daily, Liver complications changed that to oxycodone 7.5 mil twice daily, abruptly I was cut off and told to see a pain management specialist, I did that and was told they would call me with my first appointment date. he also gave me a script for 40 oxycodone 5 mil.. My question is; is there any thing I can substitute as I am trying to stop with the Oxy.

Hi,

If you want the same group of medicine then you can use Pramadol. It is the combination of Tramadol and Acetaminophen. However, I recommend you use Ketorolac tablets as it does not affect the liver.
