Suggest A Remedy To Ease Slow Bowel Movement

I have had a sharp pain in my left side for 4 days now. It today has spread to across my lower abdomen under belly button. The pain is also in my back some. My bowel movements seem slow but not constipated. No fever either. What is the best and quickest method to eliminate the bowels contents entirely to see if it maybe something there causing pain? I am unable to rest or sleep due to this pain please help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of slow bowel movements, pain on the left side of the abdomen that has now spread to lower abdomen below umbilicus, pain in the back, no fever and unable to rest or sleep due to pains.
The most probable reason can be due to severe colitis as you have severe pain and back pain too.
I would advise you the following:
Enema to cleans the bowel.
Preparation for colonoscopy.
Colonoscopy and biopsy.
CT scan of the abdomen.
Tests of the stool, blood and urine.
Once the diagnosis is done it is easy to plan properly.
If there is colitis, get the treatment as per the biopsy reports.
If cancer or so, prepare for proper surgery and further management.
