Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of upper abdominal pain, mood swings and swollen feet which is most probably due to all of the changes taking place in your body such as electrolyte imbalance. However, it could be due to an illness gastritis or IBS. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to get up slowly and do not lie down right after eating , eat small meals or snacks often, try not to skip meals . If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days the consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe laxative , anaspas , omeprazole or antacid. Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney stone or kidney infection . You should eat cold food instead of hot, eat lot of fibrous food like fresh vegetables and fruits or ginger can sometimes help an upset stomach , eating salty potato chips can help settle the stomach enough to eat a meal

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
