Suggest A Remedy For Tender Chin And Neck Muscles Post Injury

Whilst out walking on Dartmoor I fell on slippery wet surface. I landed on my back and hit my head on floor. I was not unconscious at any time. I feel a little tender when I cough, I have a slight headache at times and underneath my chin, muscles in neck tender to touch and when I cough.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The tenderness over the chin and neck can be because of the trauma which has resulted in protective co contraction of the muscles of the chin and neck. The other possible cause can be a fractured chin bone (symphysis or para symphysis fracture). Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take an analgesic like ibuprofen(if you are not allergic). You need to get a radiograph like orthopantomograph and lateral cepahalogram to confirm the diagnosis. once the diagnosis is confirmed, we can treat accordingly.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
