Suggest A Remedy For Severe Congestion Of Nose

I have had a bad congestion for almost a week. It started with a bad cough and congestion. My PCP put me on 6 days of avalox. The cough and congestion is better, Just taking Mucinex D. But I feel very exhausted, and blowing my nose makes my ears pop, pressure in my head is making me a bit light headed. Any advice?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to a cold or flu.
I suggest to use a decongestant such as Sudafed to relieve the congestion.
I also suggest using an anti inflammatory medication such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation.
I recommend to drink liquids and rest.
Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
