I warmly Welcome you! There are many reasons for the Liver enzymes to go high. It is actually a sign of damage to the liver. And, damaging factors may be: Excessive drinking of Alcohol. Liver infections like hepatitis. Some medications also cause raised levels of hepatic enzymes. As a second opinion I will suggest: Abstain from drinking and smoking in any form. Take a healthy and balanced diet. Please make an appointment for proper evaluation by a Gastroentrologist who will need to go for physical examination and some blood work, ultrasound studies of abdomen. He will review the current medications too to see if there is a need to change any of them. Some kind of early liver damages are reversible to some extent or at least we may stop the damaging process there and then through medicines. But sometimes liver damage is irreversible and clinical correlation made by Gastroentrologist will decide where to move ahead. Hope it helps.
