Suggest A Remedy For Choking And Gulping In An Infant While Being Fed In A Bottle Followed By Foul Smelling Stool And Gas
My 5 week old baby has a very hard time drinking her bottle without choking and gulping. She is using Dr browns bottles with a premmie nipple ( I have tried every nipple and bottle) she has foul smelling stool and terrible gas. Please help me sort this out. I feel so bad for her

Some babies are fast feeders and tend to swallow lot of air when feeding, more so when fed from a bottle. You could try a slow flow teat and also burp him after feeds. You can also try to feed him with his head in a slight upright position. Does he choke with every feeds since birth? You can also try feeding from a cup instead. Babies can be from a cup safely.
